Usha Adams is a remarkable woman whose passion for holistic well-being has inspired countless individuals on their journey to better health. Her story is one of dedication, growth, and the belief that prevention is indeed better than cure.
Usha’s fascination with complementary therapies began in 1980, a time when natural remedies and holistic health were gaining recognition for their profound benefits. This interest grew into a calling when, in 1985, she and her husband opened a small health food shop, Keshava Natural Foods , on Willesden Lane in London. The shop was more than just a business—it was a hub of learning and sharing knowledge about natural foods, herbs, Bach flower remedies, sugar-free jams, and dietary supplements. It laid the foundation for Usha’s deep understanding of complementary medicine.
In 1988, Usha took her passion a step further and qualified as a reflexologist from the prestigious Bayly School of Reflexology in England. Over the past 24 years, she has honed her skills, attending various courses to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in reflexology. Her practice, Upendra’s Reflexology, which she started in 2012 was a sanctuary where she combined reflexology, essential oils, meditation, and yoga breathing to support her clients’ well-being. She also provided tailored dietary advice, empowering individuals to take charge of their health.
In 2011 Usha became a wellness advocate for doterra essential oils one of the leading brands in the essential oil business. She found these oils to be transformative in self care as they not only smelt great but had therapeutic benefits as well. Details of these oils can be found in her website https://www.mydoterra.com/ushaadams/#
Usha’s philosophy is simple yet profound: while emergency medical care is vital, complementary therapies can be transformative in daily life. They can help prevent diseases, promote balance, and enhance overall wellness.
