Sony Sodhi, has been cooking in Australia for over 16 years. Came to Australia to study, doing her chef qualifications, Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management. During this time, she did her internship, with Ajay, Nilgiri’s Indian Restaurant, St Leonards Sydney. Then, Sony became a chef for the Le Beach Hut Function Centre at Dolls Point. Also worked as a chef for Aki’s Indian Restaurant, Woolloomooloo, NSW and Gate Gourmet, Mascot, NSW. Sony has been successfully running Sony Tandoori Food & Catering Services. This led to Sony having a guest Indian chef appearance, early 2020, on Channel 7’s Sunrise television program, with weatherman, Sam Mac. Sony is married to Sydney Conveyancer, Paul McKenzie.
